ENGINEERING MANAGER
We are looking for an Engineering Manager with proven experience in the field of products industrialization.
Key activities and responsibilities
The position holder will have the task of supporting the industrial development of the company in Italy and abroad, ensuring the study and coordination of product industrialization activities carried out in the company and at international suppliers.
It will also have to ensure the optimal integration of the different components of the products (e.g. mechanical components, optics, electronics, new materials, furniture, both hardware and software), in order to maximize the overall quality of the products, facilitate the operations of transport, assembly, installation and integration with hardware and software in different areas of use (e.g. real estate, architectural, even in the marine sector, transport, etc.), and reduce production costs.
The position holder will also be responsible for certifying the products, in accordance with the various quality and safety standards adopted in the countries in which the products will be distributed, as well as overseeing the preparation of the technical documentation that will accompany them.
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a degree in technical-scientific (ideally mechanical engineering), has gained significant experience in similar roles operating preferably in contexts characterized by high technology, innovation, interdisciplinarity, internationally.
He preferably has a solid professional base also on the themes of quality and safety of machines and plants.
The ideal candidate is familiar with the times related to the protection of intellectual property, speaks fluent English and is available for short trips in Italy and abroad.
